Reproplanner is the perfect tool for assessing clinic resources from an operational perspective. The analysis includes the required number of physicians, nurses, patient care assistants, and biologists, as well as the resources of the medical, surgical, and laboratory areas. Moreover, by altering the parameters, it becomes feasible to create diverse scenarios and measure their impact. Reproplanner also assists in distributing activities among IVF unit physicians.
What can you expect from reproplanner?
A comprehensive analysis of all resources based on a questionnaire that allows you to select the level of customisation you require. You can obtain the analysis simply by providing basic information about the centre’s activity, with reproplanner using average market information to perform the calculations. Alternatively, if you are able to provide more information, the result will be more closely aligned with the IVF unit’s reality.
Who is behind reproplanner?
The Medinamis team is responsible for creating this tool. The team brings over 25 years of experience in the IVF field, having transformed numerous IVF centres and created and led some of the largest platforms in the world.
What is the questionnaire structure?
There are three blocks of questionnaires:

- Basic information: Basic information includes the centre's activities. With this data, Reproplanner can generate reports using median market information. Please fill in all the gaps to start the analysis.
- Nº of physicians working in the IVF unit: The number of physicians working in the IVF unit along with their availability in terms of hours per week, enable the reproplanner to effectively allocate the activity among them.
- Mandatory forms with pre-filled information
- Basic information on how the unit works: For reproplanner calculations it is vital to assess the operational details of the IVF clinic. This is one of the questionnaires that is already filled in. Please check and verify or make any necessary changes to this data. It is important to bear in mind that these factors directly influence the capacity of the IVF unit. For example, the difference between operating 40 hours per week versus 50 hours per week, or having staff available on weekends, can have a significant impact on the facility's capacity.
- Responsibles of the activities which could be edited: The following activities could match with different profiles. This form allows the user to choose among different options for a higher customization experience.
Reproplanner has defined 7 categories all of which are fixed except for personalised and non-personalised. Later, you can confirm the options or change them. - 1st appointments: All 1st appointments of the unit done by a physician
- Personalised: All the activities done by the same physician
- Non-personalised: All activities that could be done by different physicians
- Operating theatre: OPUs
- ET: Embryo-transfers
- Egg donation: All activities inside the egg donation programme carried out by a physician
- Semen donation: All activities inside the semen donation programme carried out by a physician
- Categories’ duration: In this questionnaire, the user is allowed to confirm or modify each category duration to enhance the customization experience. The durations are set in 15-minute intervals to optimize the agenda more effectively.
- Forms to customise your analysis
The following questionnaires are not mandatory for generating the reports, however, they offer the opportunity to enhance customisation by entering full or partial data. The requested information is organised into 7 different groups. Within each box you will find the total number of questions and the gaps that have already been filled in.
- Patient’s recruitment & pre-treatment: All the activities from the first contact and before starting the stimulation or endometrium preparation.
- New treatments: To establish the new treatments the user could define the repetition rates per treatment
- Stimulation and endometrium preparation: Cancellation rates during stimulation and endometrium preparation.
- Embryo preparation & Embryo transfers: All factors that influence the events occurring between egg retrieval and embryo transfer.
- Pregnancies: Pregnancy rates and % of miscarriages.
- Egg-donation program: All figures of the egg-donation program, since donor’s recruitment until the match between the donor and recipient.
- Semen donation program: All figures of the semen-donation program, since donor’s recruitment until the match between the donor and the patient.
How can results be obtained based on the basic information?
